President of the Malaysian Indian United Party (MUIP), Datuk S. Nallakaruppan confident that Anwar Ibrahim is looking for excuses to postpone facing sodomy even though the judge had ordered him to prove self-defense, on Monday.He said it is not impossible if by that date, the opposition leader was suddenly to fall 'sick' as to require urgent treatment in hospital to allow sick leave issued once the trial to be postponed.
He said he had dared to predict that three years of sodomy in court, Anwar made repeated excuses, forcing the case was postponed for more than 50 times by Judge Datuk Mohamad Zabidin Mohd. Diah.
"I like all Malaysians want to see this case resolved promptly to bring justice not only Anwar but also to Mohd. Saiful Bukhari Azlan. However, I believe he knew Anwar would try to play tricks.
"That is why until now he failed to produce witnesses and alibi for this case, instead, try to drag the Prime Minister and his wife for allegedly existed a conspiracy to deceive the people. But when I and several friends volunteered as a witness is not called.
"We are witnesses that are relevant because I can reveal a lot about Anwar in court. Who else can I say Anwar's victims one by one," he said when met at his office here today.
